Our team has decades of experience in nonprofits, charities, and philanthropy. We use non-profit industry standard best practices to identify, analyze, and select charities that are responsibly operated and have a tangible, measurable impact in each cause area. Each charity is evaluated completely independently, and we never accept applications, solicitations, or inducements of any kind. That's the Goodist way.
We charge a small fee to cover our costs (the more you give, the smaller the fee). You choose your giving amount, then pay our fee and a payment processing fee.

We're often asked: "how much should I give?" We can't answer that question for you, but a general rule is to start by giving 1% of your income. But you can give more or less depending on your individual situation and what's comfortable for you.
